What power sources can this heater use?

The heater supports 12V and 24V DC power directly, plus 110V and 240V AC power through the included transformer. This means you can run it from vehicle batteries, boat electrical systems, or standard household mains power. The transformer automatically converts AC power to the required DC voltage, making it suitable for both mobile and stationary applications.

How long will the 9L fuel tank last?

The fuel tank provides up to 24 hours of continuous heating, consuming between 0.16-0.62 litres per hour depending on heat output settings. At maximum output, expect around 14-15 hours of runtime, whilst at lower settings you can achieve the full 24 hours. This translates to approximately 1 gallon of diesel fuel per night of heating.

Does this heater require professional installation?

No professional installation is required. This is an all-in-one portable unit that simply needs fuel, power connection and exhaust ventilation. It includes three different base options (rubber, metal, or no base) to suit your installation environment. Simply connect the power cable, add diesel fuel and ensure proper ventilation for safe operation.

What safety features does this heater include?

The heater includes overheat protection that activates at 270°C, automatically shutting down the unit if temperatures exceed safe limits. The anti-oil leakage design uses internal threading and additional rubber rings to prevent fuel spills. It also features flame-out protection and automatic shutdown if the unit tips over or loses power unexpectedly.

Can I control the temperature precisely?

Yes, the thermostatic control allows temperature adjustment from 8°C to 36°C in precise increments. The digital LCD display shows current and target temperatures, whilst the included remote control lets you adjust settings from across the room. The unit automatically cycles on and off to maintain your desired temperature.

How quiet is this heater during operation?

The advanced low-noise fuel pump significantly reduces operational noise compared to standard diesel heaters. Whilst it's not silent, the noise level is low enough for use in sleeping areas, cabins, or RVs without causing significant disturbance. The noise is primarily from the combustion fan and fuel pump cycling.

What fuel type should I use?

Use standard automotive diesel fuel or heating oil. Do not use petrol, paraffin, or other fuel types as these can damage the unit and create safety hazards. The fuel system is designed specifically for diesel fuel viscosity and combustion characteristics. Always ensure fuel is clean and free from water contamination.
